家庭背景

　　我是五專部英文系三年級的石湘琳，出生在書香世家，父母都是小學老師。我還有一個大我三歲的哥哥，目前在大學就讀中。父母親從事教育工作，因此對子女的教育也特別重視，從小就花費了很多時間陪伴及教導我們。比起學業，父母更注重我們為人處世的態度及禮儀，也陪養我們良好的閱讀習慣更為我們建立了終身學習的觀念。我們家雖然並沒有非常富裕，但父母總是把我們的需求擺在第一位，在有限的物質外豐富了我們的精神生活。但他們也不縱容不溺愛，記得爸爸還以&「勤是搖錢樹、儉是聚寶盆」這句話來作為我們的家訓，告知我們勤儉持家的道理。小時不懂事，只覺得他很八股。隨著年歲的增長加上自已也有打工經驗後，慢慢能體會父母的用心。除此之外，父母也很關心我們的校園生活，喜歡聽我們分享學校的點滴，關心我們學業之餘也常常帶我們去旅遊調劑身心，拓展視野並增進家人之間的感情。能夠生長在這麼幸福美滿的小家庭，我覺得自己很幸運!

求學過程

　　我有一個資優的哥哥，相較之下我就覺得自己不夠聰明。還好父母及師長的教導和提點讓我懂得「勤能補拙」的道理。雖然我並不是個天才兒童，但我很感謝老天爺賜給我上進的特質，也慶幸自己擁有認真學習的態度。從小學時代校內外模範兒童到國小市長獎畢業、國中畢業時還拿了家長會長獎，這些看似輝煌的成績，都是我用時間辛苦努力換來的。而在眾多的科目中，我特別熱愛外文的學習，從小代表班級或是補習班參加英文演講及歌唱比賽都取得不錯的成績，國中時還得了全校英文單字比賽第三名!熱愛外語的我，即便國中課業有多繁忙，外語的學習從未間斷。能夠流利的說很多不同國家的語言是我夢寐以求的事，也因此家人都鼓勵我來文藻就讀，而我也如願考上了文藻英文系並副修日文。我原本較為內向不擅長在公開場合表達自已。進入文藻就讀後，在眾多口頭報告及口試的磨練下，以前最不擅長的口說能力變成現在自己最有信心的特長。不只在課堂上被老師稱讚口條好、很有組織能力外，在社團跟國際志工團內都可以很有自信的帶活動與他人互動。這樣的歷程與蛻變除了讓我很有成就感外更加深了對外語學習的熱忱，平時除了學習學校的英文跟日文課程，我自己也會買書自主學習，或是看些國外戲劇，讓語言與興趣結合增加學習效果。

訂定目標

　　進入文藻後成為交換生一直是我的目標，能出國念書更是我從小開始就抱持的夢想。除了可以體驗不同的文化生活外，我覺得能讓語言突飛猛進的方法就是到當地過全外語的生活。我希望在當交換生的期間，可以增加自己的口說跟專業能力，讓外語可以如同自己的母語般說得非常流利。在現今地球村的時代中，僅是外語能力已不足以應付國際化的社會，第二專長的探索也是我下一個學習階段的課題。希望能透過交換生將學習的觸角向國際延伸，也希望可以在未來的課堂中，把握機會勇於發表自己的意見或是跟同學、老師多多交換彼此的看法增加國際觀。在學習之餘，我也希望能多交些國外朋友，更深入了解他們的文化及思想，多元化的充實自己。

生涯規劃

　　未來若完成了交換生的學習任務，我要將所學運用在更加精進的英日文學習。學海無涯，雖然目前我的英文及日文都已過畢業門檻，但我對自已在語言上的要求是没有門檻的，不應該自滿而止步於此，所以我希望可以考取更高分的語檢成績。然而在這全球化的時代，再强的語言能力也只是個工具，尤其資訊及科技日新月益，要面對未來社會擁有專業技能是必須的，所以除了語言的學習，我還會找尋自己的第二專長，學習以後能在職場上運用的專業技能，像是商業管理、編輯翻譯、或是外語教學等等。並讓所學的語言跟專長結合，發揮更大的效益。

Autobiography

Personal Profile

I was born in a happy family. There are four people in my house. Both of my parents are teachers, nonetheless, they seldom demand my brother and me to get high scores. They think that to have a great attitude is more important than a high score. I really thanks to their generous loves which they give to children. They always support my dreams, and gives me suggestions. They satisfy what we need, but they are not waste at all. They always teach me and my brother to spend money on necessary things, not on what we desire. Our family often go travelling together during holiday. Although sometimes we have arguments, our relationship get closer through every reconcilement. I am thankful to born in the best family in the world.

My parents sent me to an English cram school when I was in the third grade of elementary school. Since that time, I have been passionate on languages; therefore I decided to study in Wenzao. Studying abroad is always my dream, so becoming an exchange student has been the main aim since I came to Wenzao.　

Besides study, I also participate a lot of activities, such as, joining clubs, being a volunteer, and having part-time jobs. In my opinion, study is not the only duty students should have. To learn more skills which we can not get from classes is also necessary.

Hobby

I have two hobbies. The first one is listening to music. I am a person who is incorrigibly addicted to music that I can not live without it. Music is magical. It can make me forget about worries temporary. I am always cured by music if I feel sad. As a result, I joined dance club and guitar club to reduce the pressure from exhausted tests because both of them are related to music.

My second hobby is jogging. I jog every day. However, my purpose of jogging is not keeping in shape. I think jogging is not only an exercise, but also an attitude of remaining. Do not give up easily in spite of tiredness. To have this kind of attitude is important because we may face all kinds of difficulties in our life. But we shouldn't just escape the problem without trying our best to solve it if we think it is annoying.

Introduce Myself

I am a person who is kind and helpful. I really enjoy helping others. And that is the reason I participate a volunteer group in our school which help the exchange students in Wenzao. I am also a volunteer in the library near my house.

Another characteristics of me is hard-working. I am not a genius, but I am willing to spend more time in order to completing. I believe that there is no fluke, and the miracle will not happen. Only the hard work we have done will not betray us.

My third merit is I am a perfectionist. I like to do everything perfectly. Therefore, I often spend more time on one thing than other people. However, this personality can also be a demerit. Due to my perfectionism, I get pressure from myself if I can not achieve the goal I set. Nevertheless, I will not be affected by the pressure I give to myself. Instead, I will encourage myself to accomplish the goal.

Future

Before I graduate, I wish I could do internships in an airline company. To work in an airport is one of my dream jobs because I want to use my languages ability to serve people. In addition, I will study a new skill which I need in the future besides languages, like, business management. To have a professional skill and combine with my language ability can help me have more chances to get hired.

家庭

私の家族は四人います。両親は小学校の先生ですけど、私と兄の成績をあまり要求しません。なぜなら、両親は成績よりマナーがもっと大切だと思っているからです。両親は非常に優しいです。私はずっと両親にお金を無駄に使うことができないと言われます。しかし、もし私と兄は何か必要なものがあったら、両親はすぐに買ってくれます。それに、両親はよく私の生活に関心を持ってくれるし、休みのたびにいつも私と兄を旅行に連れて行ってくれます。このような家庭にうまれたことに感謝しています。

興味

私は子供のころから外国語に興味があります。ですから、前から文藻に入ることを決めていたのです。そのあと、留学しようと思っているので、交換学生はずっと私の目標です。私は外国語の勉強が好きなので、暇な時いろいろな外国のドラマや映画を見て、外国語の自主学習をします。興味がある学習は面白くて楽しいです。

経験

授業外では、私はバイトとクラブをしました。授業では習えないことをいろいろ習いました。例えば、お客様の質問を解決することや、お金を管理することや、人と会話することなどです。充実した生活を送っていたので、忙しかったのです。ですけれども、楽しかったです。学生の生活は勉強しかないとは思いません。ほかの技能も重要です。

目標

私は入学時から交換学生になることを目標にしてきました。ですので、今ちゃんと準備しています。交換学生はただ私の夢ではなくて、いい経験だと思います。もし交換学生になって現地へ行ったら、外国語を毎日使いし、現地の社会と文化も深く理解します。また、帰国時までにN1を取得できるほど日本語が上手になりたいです。

學習計畫

學習計畫：

計畫摘要	以下為交換期間的目標: 一.學習當地文化並分享台灣文化每個國家都有屬於自己的文化，為了避免因文化差異造成衝突，應深入了解當地的特色文化，並分享台灣專屬的文化。這樣不只能入境隨俗體驗不同的文化生活外，還能幫助從未來過台灣的外國人更了解台灣，藉此拓展交友圈。二.增強自己的外語能力，特別是口說語言是人與人之間溝通的橋梁，能不假思索就把外語說得很流暢是我想出國的最主要目的。在全外語的環境下能促使自己的外語能力更加進步。即便在學校我們有會話課，但我仍覺得自己能開口講外語的時間仍不夠充足，倘若交換的話不只在課堂上跟老師及同學可用外語溝通外，生活必定是不得不說外語。三.學會獨立離開舒適的家以及熟悉的校園，自己一個人在國外生活其實並不是件很容易的事，尤其對我這個很容易想家的人來說更是一項挑戰。但我們不可能一直都躲在父母的保護下，所以我想透過交換的機會，走出舒適圈，學會獨立自主的生活。
赴國外學校前之準備/在國外學校研修之規劃(領域/課程)	除了學習些生活會用到的會話用語外，我覺得最重要的便是應變能力了。除了說得一口流利的外語，在遇到麻煩或問題時，該如何解決或尋求協助也是很重要的能力。因此我事先上網找了些有交換經驗的學長姊的分享資料來做參考，看看他們在遇到困難時是如何度過的。而我也會先做準備，像是了解當地的氣候及熟知當地時事或是國外生活的基本需求條件等等。而求學過程一定要積極地開口，跟外國人互動，獲取新知識外，也提升自己的國際觀並增強口語能力。另外，在交換的期間，也會與家人跟學校的同學朋友保持聯絡，讓爸媽了解自己的學習環境不讓他們擔心外，也可以定時的知道國家的時事，而回來台灣時能更穩定的銜接文藻的課程。
返國後計畫	返國後，必定會讓自己短短交換的一個學期所學的學以致用，像是選課時選與交換時相似的課程，讓自己更加專精外，也會更努力的規畫自己的未來。像是到外商公司或航空公司實習學習外語外的專業技能。而我也會像其他的學長姐一樣，幫助想要交換的學弟妹，給他們建議，讓他們能夠更順利地交換。對於來到文藻學習的外籍生，我更能利用自已交換的經驗縮短彼此的距離，給予適當的協助。
未來期許	交換是個能豐富自己學習經驗的難得機會，希望在未來有需要的場合上，我可以將我交換期間所鍛鍊到的技能都發揮得淋漓盡致。也期許自已能夠找到除了外語外的專業技能，與外語結合，在職場上更有自信地展現自我、讓自已的人生更加精彩。而我也會尋找還可以再次出國念書的機會，例如申請研究所之類的等等。而在追尋夢想的同時，學會克服各種問題，再累也不會放棄，凡事都盡力的做到最好，成為一個更傑出的文藻人。

Study Plan

Short-term Goal:

After I studied in Wenzao, an exchange student is my biggest aim. Therefore, I work hard on the preparations in the first three years I study in Wenzao, for examples, studied hard to improve my languages abilities, participated a lot of activities to train myself, and also gained my views.

From now I will spare no effort on becoming an exchange student because of my dream. And during exchange I hope I can accomplish my study plan which will be mentioned below:

First of all, learning local culture and sharing Taiwanese culture. Every country has their own culture. However, serious conflicts may be caused due to the misunderstanding about diverse cultures. To understand different culture and let others know our tradition not only can avoid the conflict, but also help those who never comes to Taiwan know more about Taiwan. Moreover, knowing each other’s culture can make friends with foreigners easier, and build stronger relationships with them.

Second, improving my language skills, especially speaking ability. Language plays an important role on communicating with people. I desire to become an exchange student because to speak foreign languages fluently without thinking is my aim. Stay in a foreign country can force me to have conversations in foreign language. Therefore, I can get more opportunities to practice speaking with native speakers. Furthermore, motivate myself to discuss with teachers or classmates in class. Then I can broaden my International view.

The last but not the least, being independent. It will be a precious experience to train myself to get over all the risks without others help. This may be a difficult challenge for me because I have gotten used to living with my family.

Preparation for Exchange Program:

Before I go to exchange, I have to know more about the local country, for instance, weather, policy, and current situation. I have already attended some exchange sharing sessions. In order to getting more information. When we study abroad alone, how to solve problems, or where can get helps is also significant that we should know first. As a result, I will ask some school brothers or sisters about their experiences.

Post-Stage of Exchange:

After I come back, I will still work hard on my languages. And review what I have learned there. I want to get higher score on language verifications. Moreover, I will choose the classes which are alike the classes I took there for the purpose of getting more professional on those subjects.

Then I will also do the internship before I graduate. Although internship is required by school, I think it is definitely important for students before they enter their careers. Internship is really useful in terms of gaining experiences, learning the skills which we may be required in career, getting the jobs easier.

The last is I would like to share my experience to other schoolmates who also want to go exchange just like those whom I asked during my preparation before I go to exchange. To pass on the tradition of enthusiasm of Wenzaorian.

Future Perspectives:

Exchange is a good opportunity to improve ourselves. I wished I could be more mature if I really go to exchange. Of course I will continue studying languages and make them specialized. However, in this global world, language is just a tool of communicating. To have the specialty which can not be placed by other easily is obviously essential. Therefore, while I am studying languages, I will also study another subjects which related to my future career, such as, business management, airline service, or languages teaching. And I will still find a second chance to study abroad again because I think a foreign language speaking environment is really significant for a language learner.

交換学生の勉強計画

勉強計画:

交換学生になった場合、学習の目標が三つあります。

　　まず、現地の文化を習って、台湾の文化を共有します。国によって、いろいろな文化があります。違う文化で喧嘩しないように、他の文化習いながら、外国人に台湾の文化を教えたいです。そうすれば、喧嘩を避けられると思います。

　　さらに、外国語を上手になりたいです。特に、会話能力です。言語は人に意見を伝えるとき、最も大切です。外国に行って、外国語を使わなければならないので、外国語で話す機会は台湾より絶対多いと思います。それも私は交換学生になりたい理由です。

　　最後に、独立できるようになりたいです。もし外国に行ったら、必ず一人でたくさんの問題を解決しなければならなりません。家族や友達がいないときも解決できる能力を持ちたいです。

入学する前の準備:

現地のことについて調べます。例えば、現地の天気や学校の位置や現在の時事状況などです。よく調べてから現地に行ったら、もっと安心できます。私はもうたくさん交換学生のセミナー参加しました。また、交換学生になったことがある先輩に経験と注意事項を聞きます。

台湾へ帰ってから:

きっと現地で習ったのことを台湾でも何度も勉強します。そして、文藻で現地で受けたクラスと似ているものを選びます。勉強しながらインターンシップもします。インターンシップにたくさん参加して、やりたい仕事を探します。私は通訳や空港のグラントスタッフに興味があるので、それに、関係がある会社でインターンシップをしたいです。

将来の計画:

　　私は今まで外国語の勉強してきたので、上手になりたいです。また、外国語を勉強して、他の能力を探したいです。例えば、通訳や教育商業の管理など未来の仕事で要求される能力です。そして、その能力と外国語を仕事で使えたら、いいと思います。留学したら、外国語を使わなければならないし、視野も広がるので、未来も留学の機会を探すつもりです。
