Having been participating English debate for over 5 years, I have learnt much than I expect. Not only I get to know this world better, but also experienced how talented people could be. All these had trigger my desire of learning and becoming a more than good student. I learnt to see things from both sides, which helped me on socializing as well.

Not long ago, my classmate told me about the Model United Nation event and got my attention. See how similar MUN and English Debate are but how different they could be. Both of them are a way of approaching international issues. One it from the aspect of a nation's official, the other is taking a more public view.

Thus I went to the national MUN, and was shocked. It's impressive how students could act like officials from different countries so real that you would once believe they really are. And those issues that been discussing is more than debate, it includes many aspects of politics. You are no longer supporting for what you have to believe, but what values most.

That was the only once I've attend to the MUN, and I tell myself never again. Not that the MUN isn't good enough, but I myself would rather be a citizen who cares public welfair more than wealth ;)
