Should Child Athletes be pushed hard in order to succeed?
I think child athletes should not be pushed hard in order to succeed. First of all, they are still children. They should have beautiful childhoods as other normal children do. It is not fair to trap them in those demanding and repetitive practices. In addition to, some dangerous sports injuries will get along with them permanently. Especially, children at that age are still growing. Overuse injuries may hurt their bodies. The worst thing is that they may stop growing. I think it does not deserve it. Finally, children have their own lives. Nobody has right to decide what they will be and force them to do something they do not interest in. For example, some child athletes regret when they become adults, but it is too late. Past time has passed. Pushing child athletes hard in order to succeed is not the best way. It is true that they may succeed but the sacrifices are not worth it. Actually, getting enough rest and doing proper workouts will bring them success, too.
