My Goals for This Semester
I am studying at Wenzao, so my goal is to improve my English and Japanese. Although I studied those foreign languages hard for the past year, I still need to modify my study method. I think the main problem I have is that I’m not good at arranging my time.
First, I will try not to spend so much time on my cellphone. I like playing games, using Facebook, and watching Japanese dramas. Actually, I have uninstalled all my games, except Candy Crush. I also told myself not to log into Facebook more than once a day, and I am now complying with it. In addition, I will try not to watch a whole bunch of TV series in a short time.
Second, I will try to allocate my time for the major subjects equally. Sometimes, I study English so hard that I pay no attention to my Japanese. Or when I care a lot about my pronunciation, I totally forget about my listening. I know I should study in a more effective way, so I will try to overcome this weakness.
Finally, I’ll try not to put off doing assignments or studying for tests until the last moment. I often feel fidgety to do the studies early because I always think I can do it later. However, things always turn out wrong and I always end up regretting at the last minute.
I hope these three little goals for this semester can help me achieve my biggest one -- to learn English and Japanese well.
